Practical Course: Movement and Technology

Content

In this joint course between Informatics and Sports Science, and in the sense of research-oriented teaching, students learn about current research projects of the BioRobotics Lab (Informatics) and the BioMotion Center (Sports Science) at the interface of interface of motor control and biomechanics of human movement. This research involve the use of latest motion capture technology, advanced analysis tools, and partly also assistive robotics technology. Students carry out their own scientific motion capture experiments in teams (interdisplinary teams between students from informatics and sports science are highly encouraged), analyze the results and present them in written and oral form.
